Why do you still 'play' as an adult.
I feel like "playing" is important regardless of age. The ability to set all of life’s stresses aside and zone out into something as infinitely creative as yoyoing is a great feeling. It gives a nice zen sense of control in a world that constantly feels like it’s sinking farther and farther into a void of chaos. Cracking a beer, throwing on some music, and losing myself in a yoyo will forever be my favorite escape that i’m willing to openly speak of on the internet :).
Describe your overall style
My clothing style is a little of this and a little of that. Take some grunge, sprinkle some mall goth on there, marinate it in some 80’s euro punk, and blend it with the guy down the street that wants everyone to think he skates. My yoyoing style is made up mostly of tech that’s been inspired by a number of people over the years. To name a few: Michael Kurti, Andrew Maider, Ahmad Kharisma, Yuuki Spencer, Charles Haycock, and Ivan Maslin.
Affiliations:
My additional affiliation is the one and only Good Life YoYo’s owned and operated by the LEGEND Michael Kurti. Definitely check 'em out, take a peep at my signature yoyo the Mantra, and keep an eye out for lots more exciting things to come!
Music choice
My music taste is pretty broad, honestly. From Deftones and Loathe to BMTH and MCR, Lil Peep and Ghostemane to The Cure and She Wants Revenge etc.. It all depends on my mood, although i’m usually pretty steady in my “mature warped tour” state of mind.
